Giving Up The Ghost

It is with great regret that I announce my retirement from ghostwriting.  While I haven't ghosted anything for several months, I have had inquiries which has prompted me to place a notice on my site.  For those of you interested in hiring a ghostwriter, please feel free to contact me and I can refer you to quality writers that will be able to take on your project.

While I haven't lost my zeal for writing, I'm just not able to ghost for a living as I'm disabled and can't spend the amount of time and effort it takes to produce a quality book on a timely basis.  Hence, my decision to "give up the ghost."

It goes without saying that I adore my job, but in order to be fair to clients, I've decided to retire.  I want to thank all the clients I have had in the past as I have enjoyed writing for each and every one.  I had the best job in the world, thank YOU.

Project Greenlight - “Conversations with Pearl”
“...As a straight narrative it is touching and impressive…the action is small, personal and dramatic – the subject matter is serious and you have a flair for telling it in a readable conversational way…you have very obvious strengths…you have wit, humor, depth and perspective…”
“What a lovely story. The friendship is developed so well and the passage of time really carried me through the years with your characters…”
G.G.

“Taryn, this is a mountain of a story - very gripping and yes, cancer is a familiar topic, but the personal adventures in your story on both sides were very well told… this story was/is quite emotional and will touch so many. It is worthy of a wider market…”
S.E.

“Notes and Grace Notes” critique of various writings

“Taryn is creative, reliable, trustworthy and very easy to work with. More importantly, she's able to deal with complex subjects and pull together information from a wide variety of sources and synthesize it. Taryn has a lot of ideas and isn't afraid to share them. She is a true professional.”

Feedback – “Missing My Body”“Just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed your blog. Your work is impressive and I'll definitely check out the novels and other books. I'm struck, however, by the coincidence today of receiving your attached samples.

Just this morning I learned that the 24 year-old son of a fellow board member (from another non-profit board) had an accident in July that left him a quadriplegic. He had an extraordinary future ahead of him and I can't fathom how the young man and his family are coping. Reading your piece on 'missing my body' was so timely.....

I feel as though I've made an extraordinary discovery today.”
